We can help in the following scenarios
How does it work?
-
Initial Assessment: During the initial assessment appointment I'll ask you to share your story and tell me all the symptoms you are experiencing. We will also discuss your medical history and medications. At the end, you will be sent a lab slip for use at any lab in your province.
After getting your lab works completed, Happy Hormones receives a copy of the results electronically. The results are reviewed and if we determine you could benefit from BHRT Therapy, our staff will reach out to book a initiation appointment.
-
Initiation Appointment: Information about how your symptoms are connected to the results is provided and we will discuss a preliminary personalized BHRT Therapy plan. If you are agreeable, a prescription is sent to your pharmacy of choice and a follow-up appointment is booked for a 1-month check-in via phone.
PLEASE NOTE: Some prescriptions can only be filled by a compounding pharmacy.
-
One Month Check-In: Unique to Happy Hormones, Tammy likes to check in with all new clients at the one month point to see if they have questions and/or need for more information about their personalized BHRT Therapy plan. At the end of this short appointment, you will receive a new lab requisition to have drawn at the 10-week mark of taking your prescribed hormones.
-
Three Month Follow-Up : At the 3 month follow-up Tammy will review the new lab results and do a thorough review of your symptoms again. It may be necessary to make small tweaks of your prescriptions at this time. At the end of the appointment, she will fax a 9 month prescription to your pharmacy of choice. If required, she will give you another lab requisition for more follow-up.
PLEASE NOTE: some prescriptions can only be filled by a compounding pharmacy.
-
Follow-Up Appointments: Follow-up appointments are booked as needed in accordance with your needs and/or at my recommendation. All follow-up appointments are included in your annual plan.
